This was my first long distance and it was a great experience. Water was beautiful, bike was HARD - 25 mile/hour headwinds for 20 miles and the run would have been fairly easy if I had some energy left after the bike! I recommend this race to new or seasoned triathletes.

One of the best organized races that I have done. Definitely will do this one again.

This is a difficult 70.3. Bike course is hilly and if it is a windy day like it was in 2009, forget about a PR on the bike leg. Run course is not flat either. Swim is fun and please don't complain about the mile walk to the swim start, it is a great warm up.
