Love this race! Fun, friendly, flat. Amazing volunteers. Too bad Active.com screwed up the athlete tracker because I was 50/50 if I was going to race that morning and was relying on the tracking to let my friends/family know I was racing.
I ran the Chicago Marathon this past year for my first Marathon EVER! It is an amazing race with all the people lined up along the streets to keep you going. It is great to see all the neighborhoods, I especially love mile 19 through Pilsen (I am from Pilsen). I had about 10 friends and family members on 18th St with signs and noise makers. It was GREAT!
Flat course, great race. Come and enjoy Chicago and have your best marathon ever! Over 1 million spectators watch it!
